How much does it cost to join the Best Rewards program?
Nothing, the program is free to join!

How do I enroll in the Best Rewards program?
You can enroll in Best Rewards by visiting any participating Do it Best store and signing up for the program, or you can join online.

How do I earn points?
You earn 1 point for every $1 spent pretax. You will earn points on qualifying purchases online and in participating Do it Best stores. Some exclusions and different earning amounts may apply to each store.

Is there a minimum I need to spend to qualify for a reward?
DIY members earn $5 for every 250 points.

Do I receive credit for the TOTAL amount of my purchase?
No. You are only awarded points for the subtotal of your purchase.

Is there a cap/maximum of rewards I can earn in a month?
Yes, for DIY Members the Monthly Reward cap is $100 per month- points will carryover.

How often will I receive a reward coupon?
Rewards are issued and mailed out monthly based on your accumulated earnings.

Can I use my reward coupon at any Do it Best store?
For DIY members yes as well as online purchases. For Pro members you can only use your reward from the Pro store that you earned the points from.

Can I redeem my Reward online?
Yes, DIY customers can redeem their rewards online. They can enter either the “online promo code” (6 digits) or the number under the barcode (12 digits). In order to be able to apply a reward, they have to be logged into their account and that account has to be linked to their rewards account as they perform the Reward Validation before applying the reward to the order.

When will I receive my reward coupon?
Rewards are issued once a month. AGENT: Review customer’s reward/account history to determine if a reward has been issued. If so, look at the sweep table to determine when it was mailed out. Advise the customer of the in-home date if it has not already passed. If the reward in-home date has passed create a ticket with reward information.

Do my reward points expire?
Your points will only expire if you do not make any transactions using your Best Rewards for 12 consecutive months.

I just made a purchase, where are my points?
Points may take up to 2 days to post to your account after the date of purchase.

What if I return a purchase?
If a purchase is returned, the point value of the return will automatically be subtracted from your point total.

How often do I earn a reward?
Rewards are calculated and issued on a monthly basis. Once you reach 250 points a reward will be sent to your address on record. You can redeem your reward at any participating location or online. Rewards expire 60 days from the date of issuance.

How many rewards can be used during a single purchase?
It is at the store’s discretion how many unexpired rewards can be used in a single transaction – check with the store for details. Online, you can use one reward per transaction.

Do I have to spend the entire amount on the reward when I redeem it?
Yes, the entire reward amount(s) must be used. Any remaining balance will be forfeited.

Do my rewards expire?
Yes, rewards have an expiration date of 60 days from the date of issuance that is printed on the reward card. It must be used prior to the expiration date.

Can I combine my accounts?
Automatic Process: When customers have an exact match of name+address+email or name+address+phone they will be combined automatically in the database.
NOTE: Customers not meeting criteria for automatic consolidation please have members contact their store or we can create a ticket to combine their accounts for the customer.

I have old receipts I’ve been accumulating; can I add these to my account?
Customers that have transaction details from a receipt that was not assigned to an LC#, customer service can lookup the receipts in Genesis and have their LC# assigned to award the transaction to the customer. Stores will also have this capability.

I have not received my reward coupon. How do I get another?
Please review the customer's Rewards History to determine if a reward was issued.
If a reward was issued - review the sweep schedule to determine when it was mailed. Please note to the customer that they are mailed out via standard mail and rewards do take a little longer to be delivered. There could also be delays due to inclement weather or holidays. Standard mailings take 10 to 12 business days to be delivered from the date that it was mailed. If this time has passed, you can create a ticket.

When will I receive my Annual Rebate?
Rebates are mailed around Thanksgiving. You should expect to receive it during the first two weeks in December.

I have not received my Annual Rebate?
AGENT: Please open a ticket if the customer has allowed at least two weeks from the Annual Rebate mailed date.

I did not receive my mailer (Mother’s Day/ Father’s Day/Birthday/Paint), I want another?
AGENT: Please create a ticket with the customer’s information. Inform the customer: "Thank you for advising us that you did not receive your mailer. We'll confirm with your store that a new one can be sent" -submit a ticket.

Can I transfer points to a relative or friend’s account?
No, points earned under the Best Rewards program are non-transferrable.

How long do I have to use my reward/paint/birthday etc. reward?
Agent: Each reward has the expiration date listed on it, however for general reference the expiration date of (Insert Coupon Title) is (insert amount of days).
