Sweep Overview
Once each month, Do it Best will run Sweeps. This process sums all customer purchases for the previous month and determines if the customer earned a reward depending on the store's reward criteria. Eligible customers will receive their reward via US Mail, according to the mail schedule below.

Monthly rewards and special mailers are mailed using Standard Class mail and take 10-12 business days for delivery from the mailed date. Annual rebates will be mailed out First Class and arrive before Christmas. Any annual rebates that are not delivered will be returned to the store where the customer shops. Any of these mailings could be delayed due to inclement weather and holidays.

The Annual Rebate is based on customer purchases (and goodwill adjustments) made from the 1st of November of the last year through the end of October of the current year.


Birthday and We Miss You mailers are sent every month
Paint mailers are sent in February and November
Mother's Day and Father's Day mailers are sent in April and May


Selection Criteria for the Birthday Mailer
In order for a customer to be selected for a birthday mailer, the following criteria must be met:
  • The participating store must be active and opted in to select their customers for the birthday mailer. This can be verified on the Store Profile page.
  • Customers are selected based on their Enrollment Store Number.
  • Customers are selected based on their birth month. For example, in mid-September we will select customers with an October birthday. In mid-October we’ll select customers with a November birthday.
  • Customers must have a 12-month spend that meets or exceeds the amount their enrollment store specifies in order to be selected. This is displayed on the Store Profile page.
  • If customers are marked with a Mail Block, or their address is deemed non-mailable, they will not be selected for this mailing.
  • This reward is valid for 60 days
Selection Criteria for the We Miss You Mailer
In order for a customer to be selected for a We Miss You mailer, the following criteria must be met:

  • The participating store must be active and opted in to select their customers for the We Miss You mailer. This can be verified on the Store Profile page.
  • Customers are selected based on their Enrollment Store Number.
  • Customer must have earned at least 1 reward in the last 12 months

  • Customer must not have had a purchase/transaction in their enrollment store (where reward was earned) during the previous 90 days*
  • If customers are marked with a Mail Block, or their address is deemed non-mailable, they will not be selected for this mailing.
  • This reward is valid for 90 days
  • This mailing is only sent ONCE to the same customer

  • *It is possible a customer is not selected because the purchase was not made at the enrollment store (this is important when there are more than 1 member stores). So if a customer belongs to a Chain of Do it Best stores, such as Parker Lumber, and they did NOT make a purchase in their enrollment store, they will be selected pending they earned at least 1 earned reward in the last 12 months.
